Establishment and development process:

The enterprise was established on November 5, 1973 under the Decision No. 2565QD/TC of the Ministry of Transport, with the name of the Railway Works Complex under the General Department of Railways, assigned the task of construction. overhaul, expansion and renewal of bridges, roads, architecture, signal information, etc. of the railway industry. Headquarters are located in Hanoi.

In October 1975, assigned to participate in the restoration of the North-South Unification Railway, the unit moved its headquarters to be located in Thua Thien Hue province.

In November 2000, according to the requirements of production and business tasks of the railway industry, the enterprise moved its headquarters from TT province. Hue was stationed at No. 9, Lang Ha Street, Thanh Cong Ward, Ba Dinh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi so far.

During its operation, the enterprise was renamed and transformed from a State-owned enterprise into a Joint Stock Company according to the State’s policy, specifically:

– Changed its name from “Railway Works Complex” to “Railway Works Company” according to Decision No. 734/2003/QD-GTVT dated March 20, 2003 of the Minister of Transport;

– Converted from a State-owned enterprise into a “Railway Works Joint Stock Company” according to Decision No. 3745/QD-BGTVT dated December 7, 2004 of the Minister of Transport;

– Changed its name from “Railway Construction Joint Stock Company” to “Railway Construction Corporation Joint Stock Company” according to the Decision on renaming the Company under the authority of the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Railway Construction Corporation Joint Stock Company (the Company) is a basic construction unit, specializing in the construction, design and supervision of railway and road traffic works, industrial production, import and export and provide general commercial services…in the direction of multi-industry business. The company has member units based in major provinces along the country with construction activities throughout the provinces and cities.

The current organizational structure of the Company includes:

– Head office in city. Hanoi;

– 03 representative offices of the Company in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue and Quang Binh;

– 01 One-member limited liability company in which 100% of charter capital is held by the Company;

– 09 Joint stock companies with the Company’s capital contribution;

– 01 Branch of the Company

The total number of officers and workers (employees) of the whole Company is currently 630 people;

– The Company’s Party Committee is the Party Committee that is assigned a number of powers at the grassroots level, directly under the Vietnam Railways Party Committee, including 11 Party Committees and 03 grassroots branches under it.

– The Company’s trade union organization is the grassroots trade union, including 13 grassroots trade unions, 100% of employees of the company are trade union members.

– Organization of the Youth Union of the Company is the Youth Union at the grassroots level, including 13 affiliated junior Youth Unions.

Main mission function:

Construction of railway, road and energy transport infrastructure; extractive; manufacturing metal structures, industrial products for railway industry, construction works, traffic; real estate business, accommodation services.

The process of building and developing Joint Stock Company Railway Construction Corporation has constructed hundreds of works, achieved many outstanding achievements, awarded many noble rewards by the Party and State.
