Unfortunately I won’t be able to install my graphics drivers in compatibility mode because that just seems wrong and I expect it will cause other problems. Some further information that might be helpful is that I can use a PS4 controller in one game that supports it Fallout 4 and do not experience any such performance issues.

And something I also forgot to mention is that I’m connecting the controllers via USB rather than the wireless adapter but I’ve seen other people posting online about experiencing the same symptoms with the wireless adapter. I think from what I’ve found with my analysis is that it seems to just be an issue with the driver for the Xbox One controllers. Unless you can offer me a hotfix for that then I don’t think you can help me as I’m not prepared to make complex and risky changes to my system which is otherwise working perfectly.

I can play my games without problems fine until I plug in my elite controller then the screen jitters as I turn in some games like the evil within, and slender the arrival.
